Dr. Wan completed his MD undergraduate training and core internal medicine residency at UBC. He then went to Ottawa to complete a clinical fellowship in thrombosis. Dr. Wan is the co-director of the St. Paul’s Hospital Thrombosis Clinic where he focuses on the care of patients with venous thromboembolism. Dr. Wan has played a key role in developing UBC’s accredited thrombosis fellowship program and is an active member of Thrombosis Canada.
